Next meeting of YOYO Practitioners' Forum will be on 6th January 2009

01 December 2008

The next meeting of YOYO Practitioners’ Forum will be held on 6th January 2009, 10.30 – 1.00 at Whitefield House.

You may have noticed it has been a while since Include Youth hosted a meeting of YOYO Practitioners’ Forum, we would like to get this forum up and running again and invite you to start the new year by joining us on the 6th January 2009.

Include Youth’s policy activity is core to the organisation and our aim is to include the views of practitioners working directly with the young people who are affected.  We really value your input to our policy responses and believe it can have some influence on policy development within Northern Ireland.

At our next meeting we will be consulting on the consultation paper ‘Together. Stronger. Safer.  Community Safety in Northern Ireland’ and we would really value your attendance and input at the meeting.

Include Youth has also published its ‘Manifesto for Youth Justice in Northern Ireland’. YOYO Practitioners were involved in the consultation process for this document and Include Youth would like to thank you again for your contribution.  Copies of the Manifesto will be available at the next meeting.

We look forward to seeing you on the 6th and as always we’d appreciate it if you could let us know if you intend attending by either telephoning Jackie/Lorraine on 028 9031 1007 or email lorraine@includeyouth.org.  In the meantime enjoy the eating, drinking and merriment over the next few weeks.
