- SELB - Behaviour Support Team and EOTAS
Aims and Objectives: To assist schools in the SELB area and provide appropriate education for children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficutlies or who are temporarily unable to attend school. Objectives; To make an initial response to each referral within 10 working days. To create individual education plans for 100% of the young people who have full time EOTAS places. To provide a range of high quality learning experiences. To contribute to the SELB policy of inclusion by teaching skills which enable young people to participate in mainstream programmes. To provide high quality advice and training to schools. To provide an appropriate and individually differentiated response to each referral.

Aims and Objectives: Education Welfare Service staff involved in Critical Incident Team. The Critical Incident Team can provide advice and / or support to the school in the aftermath of a critical incident. As a team we aim to provide: Assessment of need, information and guidance, advice and support and training for school staff.
