Aims and Objectives: To enhance the quality of family life by supporting and empowering parents. To celebrate the quality of parenting skills which parents already have. To create a safe environment where parents can feel comfortable to discuss parenting issues. To identify personal and family needs. To develop and build a personal support system making use of local resources and support services for parents. To enhance skills, knowledge and confidence around parenting.

Aims and Objectives: The Big Deal 11-16 and 17-25 Age Specific Programmes are being delivered by the Northern Ireland Youth Forum Big Deal participation worker team with support from the Education and Library Boards (ELBs). A Participation Worker, located in each of the five ELB areas, supports the work of existing and facilitates the development of new and emerging participation structures.

Aims and Objectives: Aims: To provide an introduction to VOYPIC, connecting care experienced children and yp, building support networks, self esteem, confidence and provide new opportunities for friendship, fun and skill development.; To promote children and yp's participation in all aspects of the agencies work; To support the development of participative practices; To ensure participation is meaningful, valued and not tokenistic; To develop children and yp's skills and capacity to participate; To provide forums, events and activities where young people can participate at a level that suits their need; To provide advice, support and training on Participative models of practice; To produce a communication tool for use in participative practice.
