Aims and Objectives: Family Links is a programme to help people cope with having a family member in prison. It is offered to the families of all prisoners in Northern Ireland and is funded by the Probation Board, the Youth Justice Agency, the NI Prison Service and the Nationwide Foundation. The service offers both practical and emotional support in coping with what can be a lonely and difficult experience. Children especially can suffer real trauma. Family Links staff contact each family within 48 hours of someone entering prison or the Juvenile Justice Centre.

Website: www.fasaonline.org - First Step Drop-in Centre
Aims and Objectives: To tackle specific problems encountered by adolescents living in Lower North Belfast, in particular those involved in, or at risk from, alcohol and drug abuse and the asssociated anti -social behaviour by providing a safe environment and youth friendly facilities. We do this by prevention and intervention and by programmes tailored to meet the relevant needs. Although based on Christian principles, we have recognised the necessity to meet the needs of young people on their terms and without criticism. We work to create opportunities which will enable these young people to gain the knowledge, skills and the positive mindset they require to fulfill their full potential and to assist them while they manage the transition to adulthood.
