- Barnardos - PACT
Aims and Objectives:PACT (Parent and Child Together) offer accommodation, assessment and a range of support services to young women aged 16 -24 and their children aged birth to 3. The project provides 24 hour support with each family having contact at a minimum level of every 2 hours while they are in the unit. Those referred to the project are - pregnant young women 6 weeks before birth, new mothers who are experiencing difficulty caring for their baby and mothers who wish to resume care of their baby after a period of separation.
