| Aims and Objectives: | Provide support for young people ‘at risk’ through community-based alternatives to care and custody; responding to the principles and objectives of the Criminal Justice (Children) (NI) Order 1998, the Children (NI) Order 1995 and the Justice Act 2002. We work with young people and their families with the following objectives: prevention of offending; facilitating family and community integration; providing family support services; supporting children in need and at risk; promoting social inclusion; promoting good citizenship. |
| Programme Outline: | We provide a range of preventative and diversionary services which seek to enhance the strengths and positive attitudes of the young person and his/her family. The work programme is tailored to meet the needs of the individual referred and may include Individual Work, Systemic Family Work, Issue Based Groupwork, Activity Based Groupwork, Parents Groupwork, Social Education, Education Support and Advocacy. |
