| Programme Outline: |
Counselling service for young people aged 12-18 years who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Service is a component of mental health directorate. Staff are social workers and mental health nurses who are members of multidisciplinary team. Consultation provided to team by consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist. Therapies offered include mental health assessment, post abuse counselling, relationships counselling, anxiety/stress management, post traumatic stress counselling. Referrals from professional source and by appointment. |
