| Aims and Objectives: | The Give & Take Scheme provides specialised support for socially excluded young people or at risk young people (aged 16-21 ) who are unable to participate in mainstream employment /training and education. Our two main aims are to improve long term employability and raise confidence/self esteem of our young people. We offer a wide range of programmes aimed at meeting the personal, social, educational and recreational needs of young people. |
| Programme Outline: | Young people are provided with supported work experience placements where they are given graduated exposure to responsibility in particular areas they are interested. Each young person has a personal development worker who address the personal and social barriers they face in relation to Education, Training and Employment, this is achieved through a needs led individually tailored programme delivered on an individual and group basis. Every young person also has the opportunity to gain up to seven accredited qualifications while on the scheme including essential skills, Duke of Edinburgh, employment skills. |
