| Aims and Objectives: | To help prevent young people who have been misusing substances from becoming excluded from school. To help young people who have been misusing substances examine their behaviour and, through a cycle of change, encourage them to take charge of their lives in a positive manner. |
| Programme Outline: | Referrals come from schools, parents and education welfare officers. Participation is voluntary. The project worker will undertake six individual sessions with the young person to look at the courses, identify supports and devise an exact strategy. |
