We are seeking a highly skill and passionate individual to develop manage and co-ordinate a youth participation model for Include Youth. The successful applicant will be responsible for the participation, training and involvement of young people and practitioners in policy and advocacy. They will help build the skills and confidence of participants who are ‘Experts by Experience’  to co-design programmes supporting young people to be peer mentors and policy advocates. 

They will be part of the Senior Team working closely with our Policy Coordinator on issues affecting young people.

Hours 35 per week

Salary £32,029 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an 

COMMUNICATIONS CO-ORDINATOR 

Include Youth are looking for an excellent, innovative, and enthusiastic communications coordinator to join our team, this post is fixed term (until 31st March 2023) but will be extended subject to funding.

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to develop, manage and coordinate communications across Include Youth.  You’ll be responsible for our media relations, marketing, publications, stakeholder engagement and Include Youth website.  Key responsibilities include content creation and digital channel management (excellent copywriting, editorial and content creation skills), brand management, event management and collaborative working with a range of partner organisations, stakeholders and young people.  You’ll be part of the Senior staff team and work closely with our Policy Coordinator on issues affecting young people.

Hours 35 per week

Salary £32,029 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an 

EMPLOYABILITY JOB COACH

Include Youth have secured funding from Comic Relief to fund a Job Coach who will support the successful implementation of the JobStart (LAC Pilot with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust).

The post holder will be responsible for providing job coaching for NEET/ESF young people in and leaving care from the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and ensuring delivery on individual ESF targets and requirements. Key responsibilities will involve supporting young people to prepare for, access and sustain JobStart employment opportunities, and supporting their transition beyond JobStart.  The post holder may also be required to provide job coaching for JobStart participants accessing Employment outside of BHSCT

Start Date May 2022

End Date March 2023 (may be 1-6 months extension depending on funding)

Hours 35 per week

Salary £26,999 per annum

BANK STAFF REQUIRED

Include Youth is seeking to create a bank of part-time Youth Workers, Essential Skills Tutors, ESOL Tutors who may be called upon to complete both short and longer term paid work on our sites throughout Northern Ireland.

Essential Criteria
For Youth Workers you are required to have   
- Recognised 3rd level qualification – e.g. Diploma/Degree Youth & Community, Diploma in Social Work, or related discipline 

For Essential Skills Tutors you are required to have   
- Qualified in accordance with DEL Essential Skills Tutor Education policy ES02/04, Addendum No.3, Revised July 2011.
- A minimum of Grade C GCSE in Maths and English

For ESOL Tutors you are required to have 
• TEFL Certification.
